A Virtual Private Network (VPN) creates an encrypted tunnel between your device and a secure server operated by GreenShield VPN. All of your internet traffic passes through this tunnel before reaching websites and apps.
This hides your real IP address, protects your data from eavesdropping (especially on public Wi-Fi), and makes it harder for third parties to build a profile of your online activity.
GreenShield VPN has a strict no-activity-logs policy. We do not store which websites you visit, what you download, or which apps you use while connected to the VPN.
We may process minimal technical data such as anonymized server load information to maintain service stability, but this data is not tied to your browsing activity.
When you are connected to GreenShield VPN, your internet service provider (ISP) can see that you are using a VPN and the amount of data you are sending, but they cannot see the websites you visit or the contents of your traffic.
Your DNS queries and web traffic are handled inside the encrypted tunnel rather than through your ISP’s standard routes.
